SINTRONES, a leading provider of rugged edge AI computing solutions, today announced the IBOX-602P-IP66, a compact and rugged Edge AI computer powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX platform. Designed for transportation, outdoor vision, and industrial AI applications, the system combines powerful edge AI performance, IP66 protection, GMSL-2 camera connectivity, and rugged M12 interfaces in a fanless design.
Powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX 16GB or 8GB, the IBOX-602P-IP66 provides high-performance AI computing for real-time image processing, object detection, video analytics, and intelligent vision applications. By processing camera and sensor data directly at the edge, the system enables faster response times while reducing dependence on cloud connectivity.
Built with a rugged aluminum enclosure, the IBOX-602P-IP66 features an IP66-rated design that protects the system against dust and water. Its fanless passive cooling architecture enhances reliability in environments where dust, vibration, temperature changes, and exposure to the elements can challenge conventional computing systems.
For vision-based AI applications, the system supports 2 × GMSL-2 camera interfaces via FAKRA connectors, enabling high-speed video transmission from remotely installed cameras. It also provides 2 × Ethernet ports with PoE support, simplifying the deployment of IP cameras and other network devices by combining data and power connectivity.
The IBOX-602P-IP66 provides rugged M12 and M8 connectivity, along with CAN FD, RS-232/422/485, digital I/O, USB 3.2, and HDMI interfaces for flexible integration with cameras, sensors, controllers, and other peripherals. A 9–60V DC wide-range power input with smart power management makes the system suitable for transportation, mobile equipment, and industrial power environments.
